MICKY BLUE

GENERATION WEDNESDAY: EPISODE ONE

HOSTED BY RYN DEAN

The first ever episode of Generation Wednesday launched live with US born songwriter Micky Blue who was currently travelling in Italy, talking to our presenter Ryn Dean who was in the West Coast of USA.

The idea of Generation Wednesday was born to show a natural discussion with women in music around the world, able to talk uncensored about their own careers, sharing advice to others while feeling excited about the future of an industry that can no longer forcefully manufacture female musicians.

Micky Blue and Ryn Dean are both US born songwriters. While Ryn has found audiences in Brazil with her work, Micky Blue moved to Europe, most notably working in the Netherlands where she released 2 records with world famous DJ Tiesto, both of which he premiered at Tomorrowland and Ultra Festival.

Micky was born in New Jersey and is a graduate of the world famous Berklee Music School which has spawned 320 Grammy Awards from 133 alumni including artists such as Quincy Jones, Bruce Hornsby, John Mayer and many more.

In this interview Micky and Ryn discuss education, music distribution, American and International culture and much more.
